Characteristics- 1. This book has been prepared keeping in view the main examination of Chhattisgarh PSC. However, it is equally useful for the religion and philosophy section of arts and culture in the preliminary exam. Apart from this, some parts of it are also suitable as essays. 2. This book has been written by Mr. Sourabh Chaturvedi himself, the senior most teacher of Delhi IAS. It has been ensured that efforts should be made to understand these sections of philosophy from the point of view of general life rather than from academic point of view. In this sequence, an attempt has been made to avoid unnecessary complicated concepts and complex words. 3. In this book, the course of philosophy has been presented by dividing it into four sections. Indian thinkers include - Kautilya, Guru Nanak, Guru Ghasidas, Vallabhacharya, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhimrao Ambedkar, Deendayal Upadhyay. The third section, under Western thought include - Plato, Aristotle, Saint Anselm, Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, Kant, Hegel, Bradley, Moore's Objectivism, A.J. Air, John Dewey, Sartre. Whereas the fourth section is of Ethics which includes- dharma philosophy, religious tolerance, the problem of evil, moral values ​​and moral dilemma, ethical principles in governance, code of conduct for public servants, corruption, etc. These have been presented in detail with relevant facts and concepts. . 4. At the end of the book, previous years questions asked by Chhattisgarh Main Exam have been provided to get the aspirants familiar with the exam pattern. Apart from this, the practice questions will help you in your answer writing practice. 5.
